FULL TIME 30 HOUR WORK WEEK — EARLY MORNING HOURS
The New Jersey Herald Distribution Department has an immediate opening for a Full Time District Manager to manage the distribution of newspapers to our customers throughout the Sussex County and surrounding communities while maintaining the highest level of service.
In this position, you will communicate regularly with our delivery contractors, respond to customer service issues, recruit and contract for delivery services, participate in the early morning distribution process and participate in frequent sales projects to grow circulation.
Although 3 to 5 years of previous newspaper circulation and manager experience is preferred, a background in other service related work and management will be considered for this position.
The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively and efficiently with a minimum of supervision. Excellent customer service and basic accounting and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be willing to travel within the surrounding area when necessary. High School Diploma or equivalent and must be available to work early morning hours.
